Abstract
In Poland, there is a government program to help children with retinopathy and cerebral paralysis. However, the allotted time and methods used are clearly insufficient for rehabilitation. The author gives the positive results of her own method of restoring visual functions, which is based on the use of the AmbliokorTM-01 device. The results were objectively assessed using an electrophysiological study of visual evoked potentials. In this clinical case, it was possible to achieve a noticeable improvement in visual function in 2 years of training

Abstract
He main results of the 3rd Global Pediatric Ophthalmology Congress (London, March 22-23, 2018) are considered. The specific examples are given of the lack of effective copyright protection for ophthalmologists in the postSoviet space. The inexpediency is shown of patenting new diagnostic and treatment methods only in the Russian Federation without registration and annual maintenance of patents in the main developed countries. A conclusion is made about the possibility of copyright protection by publishing in high-rating ophthalmological journals which are included in the world databases.

ФИЗИОЛОГИЯ ЗРЕНИЯ

Abstract
The interrelated functioning of systems of accommodation, production and outflow of aqueous humor, with a common actuating mechanism (ciliary muscle), is considered. It is shown that acquired myopia is not a disease, but a normal adaptation of the eye to the visual load (long near work). For prevention or inhibition of adaptive myopia, this natural physiological mechanism must be switched off with early rational optical correction. This is the key position of the metabolic theory of myopia. In conclusion, the conceptual issues of the popular incremental retinal-defocus theory (IRDT) are criticized in detail. It is shown that IRDT is based on some unconfirmed hypotheses that contradict the basics of the physiology of vision.
