The scientific and clinical journal "The EYE" was founded in 1998, the frequency of publication was 6 times a year. The main topics of the magazine are optometry and vision correction by contact lenses.

In 2018, a change of ownership took place - the Non-state Educational Private Institution of Continuous Professional Education “Academy of Medical Optics and Optometry” became the owner. In March 2019, the magazine was rebranded and now it is published as “The EYE GLAZ” with a frequency of 4 times a year.
