Несмотря на то что в последние годы появилось много технологических усовершенствований и инноваций, улучшающих свойства контактных линз, в категории плановой замены было не так много достижений. Для удовлетворения потребностей пациентов, предпочитающих линзы плановой замены, необходимы новые технологии. Эксперты представляют концепцию биомимикрии и то, как она улучшает взаимодействие между контактной линзой и глазной поверхностью.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Approximately 60% of individuals who use contact lenses prefer to use frequent replacement lenses. Despite various improvements in contact lens technology, there has been minimal progress in weekly/monthly lenses. Meeting the requirements of patients who prefer frequent replacement lenses demands new technological advancements.
